KIA Memorial Road March to pay tribute to fallen soldiers, help veterans in need

Army Sgt. Jason Jaskula knows well the sacrifice made by American servicemen and women in the conflicts since Sept. 11.

He has been in the military since 1989, and from 2004-05, he served an 18-month tour of duty in Iraq, fighting insurgents in hotspots like Baghdad and Fallujah. Over there he lost a number of close friends and fellow soldiers, including his self-proclaimed battle buddy and fellow sergeant Christopher Dill, who was also a Buffalo firefighter.
